Carolyn's daycare/preschool sent home a test form today. I thought it would be fun to see what she knows. I figured there may be a few things that she knows that I wasn't aware of. Though recently, Matt and I have both mentioned how smart that little stinker is.
Today Carolyn is: 3 years, 7 months (-1 day)
I randomly pointed to letter and asked her if she knew it. These are the ones she got (I had no clue she could recognize any): Bb ,Cc ,Gg ,Ii ,Jj, Oo, Uu, Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz.
I got out the crayons and she knew: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, brown, black, pink and only missed gray.
And her shapes: circle, square, rectangle, diamond, star, and heart. She missed triangle and octagon both of which I know she had recognized before. She also missed oval.
She wasn't able to recognize any numbers but when I asked her "Carolyn, how high can you count?" she used her hand to step along imaginary stairs then stood on the couch to get even higher, and told me "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,15,16,17,18,19,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,20-10. Not bad, she missed 13 and 20 and included the too-funny 20-10 :)

Hank's 1st Haircut
Hank had a few whispies curling out around his ears. Nothing major, and after we were through, not enough to even save for his scrapbook (ehh, who needs it). So anywho, we took him into the bathroom Tuesday night and took the clippers to him. Eleanor was my videographer and these are snapshots pulled from the video. Not the greatest but enough to get the idea.
He looks so handsome and besides not wanting to sit still, he did a great job. Just not a fan of mom folding his ears out of the way of the clipper, but who would be.
