Eleanor played a fantistic game today! I was very impressed with her hustle and enthusiasm on the field. She did well at the plate but wasn't able to make contact with the ball when pitched. But she got some great hits off the T.

Grandpa Streidl
Grandpa/Coach/Jack Streidl passed away Monday April 16th at 93 years old. It's been a privilege for me to have met him and been able to call him family. He's lived a fantastic life and I can go on and on about his accomplishments. But the best thing about him for me was his story telling. He had amazing recollection whether he was recounting his days serving with the Navy during WWII or telling about the weight and playing ability of former athletes.
We had a wonderful visitation and funeral at Plainwell High School. It's always so wonderful to see all the Streidl's. And it was my first time at Streidl Field. We walked on the field before the funeral for these shots.
We love you and will miss you dearly Coach!

Mini Spring Break / Carolyn's 4th Birthday
Hank LOVES the train. Wait a couple months until he sees the real deal setup on the outside track!
Sunday was Matt's day off so we took the kids to Potawatomi Zoo to see the lions and tigers and (no) bears...
The tiger is so cool!
Love those kids!
The lion paced the cage and let out a thunderous roar. It was impressive!
Eleanor, our Southern Cricket Frog
Carolyn, our Flea
Train Ride!
I love that silly look - he's so goofy sometimes. Well a lot of the times.
Monday I took a day off work to take the kids to St Joe to the Curious Kids Discovery Zone...
And the carousel...
Hank thought the carousel was super cool!
After a lunch at Schu's, we had 'squeeze up yogurts' and went to the 'Church Park'...
These kids we so amazingly good. They didn't ague or fight. They just had a grand time. I will definitely make more time to enjoy weekends like this! My kids are seriously cute and amazingly fun!
