A Night At The Wax Museum: The Musical

Eleanor was in her first play this summer. She was cast as Lizzy Borden for the Tin Shop's summer children's play. She couldn't have been cast to a better part! She stole the show! We loved her! And she made great friends, especially Lorraine!

One of my favorite pictures. Such sweet friends!

Streidl Family Reunion

One of the best things about July, the Streidl family reunion at the Cottage. A bit lighter showing than most years. The siblings had all gotten together earlier in Seattle. So we missing the Gardners, Strodtmans, and Seattle Streidls. But we had a great time nonetheless. We were even able to bring our newly arrived student from Catalonia, Nuria!

4th Of July!

Mom and Gary parked early to get us this prime parade spot. The weather was fantastic. Carolyn spend her time coloring for money while Eleanor and Hank watched the parade.

Our friend John Boyd was campaigning for Sheriff (and he won in November!)

Fun Times in June!

I was able to chaperone Carolyn's Kindergarten fieldtrip to the Curious Kids Museum in St. Joe. We nearly had a plow a girl over so Carolyn could have her pick of the mermaid horse on the carousel :)

As tradition holds, Mrs. Falkenstein came to read to Carolyn (and Hank and Eleanor).
Eleanor's buddy Grant came to watch her play ball.

And we had a fun trip to the Pottawatomi Zoo with Katie, Natalie and Maddie!

We love spending time at Fernwood. This was our first time seeing the Patrick Dougherty Stick Sculpture!

And we did some barn time at Buddy and Jaja's! Hank loves riding "Rubble" (Rebel), Eleanor is fantastic on Zippy and we can't get Carolyn away from her best friend, Strawberry.

The kids did a 6-week swim session in Bridgman. I was really impressed with how well they did. They just loved it!

And the softball season ended. We had a great time with these gals and their families!
