May

May! Finally warm weather which means time for the Cottage on Lake 16,

and prepping the garden,

and fresh cut flowers from the road-side stand on Daddy's way home from work,

and more softball and Eleanor's first hit which warranted our first post-game trip for ice cream,

and lots of playing in the yard,
and swinging on the porch swing,
and Kindergarten graduation,

and the Memorial Day parade when Eleanor rode with her softball team and Carolyn and Hank scrounged for candy! We love May!

and the BYSBA fundraiser night at Four Winds Field (final year before the South Bend Cubs come to town),
(At the end of the game we watched fireworks then the kids were allowed on the field to run the bases. Hank freaked over it. He took off, didn't look back, and rounded those bases like he was a real Silverhawk!)
and a trip to the Buchanan Art Center to see the girls' art on display!
Hank's tractor got a new battery and he had to test its power by riding all the way downtown
