How is it that you are 4-years-old already? It doesn't seem possible, yet I barely remember life before you were in it. You light up of lives with your beautiful smile, loving personality, and off-the-cuff singing. You are such a wonderful big sister to Carolyn; the way you look out for her, hold her hand, put up with her little-sister'ness, and always tell her you love her .
Soon you'll be in preschool, then kindergarten and beyond. While we would like to keep you little forever, you are bound and determined to grow up. You want to ride the school bus, you have since you were two. You want to get yourself dressed and often do so. You can get your snacks, and some for Carolyn too. Your independence is growing and it makes us proud.

Welcome to the 4-year-old Club, Eleanor!! That's so cool that several of our kids could possibly be going to IU at the same time. (As if they have any other choice in schools.)
I know I don't get to see you guys that often, but Eleanor seems like such a sweetheart. I love that she is so petite but doesn't scare away from big things like learning how to ride her bicycle without training wheels. ;) She is going to be such a good helper with the new baby, too.
